The impact of the rapid pace of transformation in technology and industry has triggered a metamorphosis in the mind set of the world. This has made it imperative for undergraduates to acquire professional trainings which equip them with the latest know-how and best practices.

In order to meet the growing demand the INDUS Institute for Engineering and Technology (IIET) is established by the Bhandari Charitable Trust (BCT) for imparting engineering education and for promoting technology research to generate suitable technical manpower. The institute is self financed and initially from June 2006 it will offer B.Tech degree in four branches, namely mechanical, automobiles, metallurgy and electrical and electronics engineering. The institute is recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and affiliated to Gujarat University.

The Trust has acquired 44, 949 sq. Of land at vill: Rancharda, Nr. Palodia, about 12 KMs from Ahmedabad, which is easily accessible through road. The campus is a blend of nature and modern infrastructure through creating a tranquil environment with a tree-lined, garden-rich, and lush green campus that can heighten the spirit and energy level of all learners in an easy flowing and community-friendly atmosphere.

As an institute, to be a top-notch world class institute we aspire to create an environment of excellence, team spirit and professional integrity through class room teaching, practical exposure and personality enhancement.
