After an extremely successful decade since its inception, D.J.Sanghvi College of Engineering is now on the threshold of reaching the highest standard of Engneering Education and is ready to take on the chanllenges with the globalisation of of education in India as per the WTO requirements.

The International standard of infrastructure and the state of art facilities offering modern methods of education gives a tremendous opportunity to the future generation who have great ambitions in life. All the facilities available are ably supported by amongst the best team of faculty members, which is evident from the outstanding results of our college showing improvement year after year.

The state of art facilities as one should appreciate, are available to the best of the students who have demonstrated outstanding skills at the school and Junior College levels and who can face the challenges ahead in keeping with the high standard of the college and expectations of the Management.

As always the management will follow a totally transparent policy in the admission process and while every effort will be made to have the same as simple and smooth as possible, court orders and Government directives will be strictly adhered to.

In a short span, the college has come to be recognized as a premier institute of technical education. The favourable location of the institute in the heart of Mumbai along with state-of-the-art facilities and distinguished faculty has been a nurturing ground for students of high academic capabilities.

11, 200 sq. Meters of spacious classrooms, well-equipped laboratories and workshops, new age computer facilities and a well-stocked library provide a stimulating educational environment within the College. The College has attracted qualified and experienced faculty members with more additions in the years to come.

Continuing our commitment of providing students with better infrastructural facilities; the College has added new equipment and furniture during the year 2004-2005. A further injection of quality equipment is in the pipeline.

These continued efforts of the Mandal, the faculty and our students has propelled the college into the top echelons of Quality Engineering Colleges with an 'A' grade certificate from the Directorate of Technical Education, MS continuously for the second time.

MISSION:
The mission of the Dwarkadas J. Sanghvi College of Engineering is to prepare competent engineers, technocrafts and researchers for various sectors of industries to meet the challenges and help industry and society for better life.

With liberalization, Privatisation and Globalisation, the educational institutions in India will soon face challenges in the educational market. It will also give opportunities to Indian Institutions to become a global player. The educational institutions in general and the institutions of higher and technical education in particular will have to prepare themselves to provide quality education and training of international standard.
